Island APK
Clone or Isolate apps to use them without being influenced by your previous account logins.
About Island
The Island app lets you use the same app with two different accounts as it offers the ability to clone and isolate apps that are used inside its isolation sandbox.
You can isolate call logs, contacts, photos, and if related permissions are granted. Device-bound data (SMS, IMEI, etc) is still accessible.
Cloning an app lets you run two identical apps in parallel; while isolating an app lets you run it within a virtual bubble so that no matter what happens with the app, it won’t affect your device.
Apart from that You can also freeze an app to block it completely, and hide apps so only you know they’re installed on the device.
The Island App for cloning and Isolation FAQs:
Cloning an app removes the need to use a second phone and gives you the ability to use an app with a secondary account on the same phone.
The island app takes advantage of the “managed profile” feature on Android 5.0+. Which is also the base of “Android for Work”, to create an isolated sandbox for apps with their data.
The app needs to be cloned in Island first. Afterward, the clone can run parallel aside from the original one even with different accounts signed in. It can be frozen on demand by the Island.
When used inside the Island you can prevent permission-hungry apps from accessing your private data. Sometimes runtime permission may not be the solution, especially if the app refuses to work without certain permissions.
In normal mode, Island only takes care of apps inside the app space. The “Managed Mainland” is an advanced mode, in which the Island also takes control of apps outside the Island space.
