As someone replies to you, the app automatically brings up all previous related messages for your reference in a collapsible vertical thread.
Emails are thoroughly scanned for viruses and malware. Gmail constantly updates its anti-malware software to give you the best anti-virus protection possible. In case of a suspected email, the Gmail app will highlight you with an alert before you download and open the files or email.
The app automatically separates your inbox into different categories such as social and promotion. Google also combines all of its main services into your Gmail navigation bar, so it becomes straightforward to manage all the related services such as Calendar, Google Keep, and YouTube on the go.
Gmail users get 15GB of storage which is more than enough considering emails and inboxes. Users can send attachments of up to 25MB per email and in case of a bigger attachment, you can easily upload it to Google Drive and share a link via email.
Gmail Android app and AI
Google’s search chips are now on Gmail, which means there are several different filters to choose from to get to the mail you are searching for.
In a blog post, Google says Gmail has “more accurate and circumstantial search suggestions with better customization as a result of our new machine learning models”.
The app will now ensure you’re emailing the right person, and the AI-based improvements are similar to Gmail’s Smart Compose or Smart Reply features that Google came up with a few years ago.
To add a Gmail account to the app, open the app and you will get step-by-step help to add an account. If you’re already logged in on your device, you don’t need to log in again. Otherwise, you’ll have to enter your email address and password.
It’s very easy just click on your image at the top right. There, all the accounts you’ve added in Gmail will appear, as well as the option to “Add another account.”
You can easily connect to your other Exchange and online email boxes and combine them in your Gmail inbox. Users can easily register Outlook at work, or those who use different email addresses can easily communicate via the Android app.
The app also does a very good job of scanning your incoming emails and identifying unwanted emails by patterns. This improves the app’s overall performance considering the amount of spam.
