About Pixel Launcher
The Pixel Launcher gives you a first-hand experience of Google’s Pixel phone. Its biggest feature is the app drawer.
Google has removed the app drawer. Instead, the user needs to swipe up from the home screen to view the list of apps. Also, the Google search bar is no more.
The Pixel Launcher is the rebranded version of the Nexus Launcher. And instead of the search bar, you have a Google button fixed at the top of the home screen.
Pixel Launcher FAQs:
If you place a couple of apps into a folder, the app will immediately suggest a folder name. For example, combining Google Messages and WhatsApp results in the name messages.
There is a new feature that lets you add them to your home screen, replacing the persistent bottom row of apps. An option to block specific apps from appearing in suggestions is also present. But it’s more or less got closer to Google Now.
A long press on the home screen will take you to the wallpaper picker and widget settings so if you want to change any widgets then go ahead.
