TFT: Teamfight Tactics is an ‘auto chess’ game developed by Riot Games, the same studio that created League of Legends. Just like the popular LoL, Teamfight Tactics is set in the Runeterra universe where you’ll have to Draft, deploy, and dominate with a revolving roster of League of Legends champions in a round-based battle for supremacy. Outsmart your opponents and adapt as you go—the strategy is all up to you.

This game comes with cross-platform support. This means you can play with your friends (and crush your enemies) across PC, Mac, and mobile. The game is fun to play especially if you have already tried the other franchise games.

You begin by choosing a champion, with a countdown clock ticking away as you decide where to put them on a grid (for Drodo and Valve’s version, a traditional chessboard of squares; for Riot’s version, hexagons).

You then get a combat phase in TFT: Teamfight Tactics, where your chosen champion fights creeps or another player’s squad. There are eight players per game either winning you extra gold or taking damage.

Then your field resets, and gold is rewarded to you, calculated based on whether you’re on a winning or losing streak. And with interest based on how much gold you’ve carried over from round to round.

TFT: Teamfight Tactics includes dozens of different units, many of which are classics that are making a comeback. Keep in mind that learning to combine the special features of all your units to create powerful synergies is actually vital.

Also, try to acquire the same type of units in order to level them up. That translates into acquiring more power and better skills. In the end, the goal is to create the most powerful group of heroes.
